You may set three system-timing values: Incoming, Outgoing, and Connections. There are two ways to alter each field. By raising or lowering values through the adjacent up and down arrows, or by clicking within the appropriate field to manually type in values. All values are measured in minutes and seconds.
The Incoming text box determines how often the SLmail router will poll the In queue for new messages.
The Outgoing text box determines how often SLmail will poll the Out queue for new messages.
The Connections text box determines how long the system will wait for a response after a connection has been established before disconnecting.
