This version of SLmail has a Log Viewer that is designed to show Windows NT Event-style logs. This log, which is for the SMTP server, contains all events relative to the handling of inbound mail. This will make troubleshooting much easier, since this log will show all errors and significant events within SLmail.
The SLmail Log Viewer is found in the SL Products Group within the Start Menu. Go to the Start > Programs > SL Products > SLmail > SLmail Log Viewer .
Click Load Event Log and you will be presented with the next dialog box. This dialog box displays the Logs Folder located in the SLmail Directory.
This dialog box gives you the choice of which log you want to view from within the Logs folder in the SLmail Directory. Select the log you want to view and click Open. The next dialog box shows the log that you have chosen to view.
