SLmail can be set to log almost any mail event on your system. There are two sets of logs, one for each service (POP3 and SMTP). Excessive logging has a performance price, however, so SLmail can also be set to log very little. SLmail writes a record of these events to various files.
The Control Panel Applet Logging tab is nearly identical to the Web-based Administration.
