Directories

The directories section of the System page consists of four text boxes in which you can select the directories SLmail should use.

System

This is the directory where SLmail keeps its system files and some log files. The System Directory is also used as a starting point for all user mailboxes. The default location is C:\ProgramFiles\SLmail\System . This location can be moved.

New Mailbox Default

This is the directory where SLmail will store user mailboxes, unless a different location was manually specified in the user account properties. The default location is C:\Program Files\SLmail\System but it can me moved.

Incoming

This is where inbound mail is stored when SLmail initially receives it. The default location is C:\Program Files\SLmail\In . Again, this location may be moved.

Outgoing

This is where outgoing mail is stored. The default location is C:\Program Files\SLmail\Out . The Out Directory can be moved.

You may type any path into the text box to specify any of these three directories. If the directory does not exist, SLmail will create it for you. You may also click the Edit button to the right of each field to bring up the Choose a Directory dialog box (not illustrated).
