It is with regret that SeattleLab has made a hard decision to discontinue our SLMail Pro product line along with the integrated Commtouch anti-spam service and Norman anti-virus service. End of life for SLMail Pro and Mail Warden Pro will be April 30, 2013. End of life for Commtouch and Norman will be within the next 30 days or less.

We will honor all SLMail Pro and Mail Warden support contracts purchased prior to April 30, 2012.

The anti-spam and anti-virus services will need to be switched to SpamTitan our new vendor partner as soon as possible. SeattleLab will continue to provide SpamTitan services for any email server chosen by our client base (SLMail Pro, MS Exchange, Sendmail, Postfix, Qmail, Lotus Notes, Lotus Domino, Scalix, Mailenable, Ipswitch/IMail, Novell Groupwise, Simbra and MDaemon).

Unfortunately there may be a small upgrade fee to move to our new service partner. Please contact sales@seattlelab.com for specific pricing details for each unique environment.

SpamTitan will need to be installed in one of the following ways:

• #1 SpamTitan ISO - It is a complete operating system and software suite image. When installed on a PC or server, it will clear any existing operating system, replacing it with its own and the SpamTitan software suite resulting in a dedicated SpamTitan email appliance for your gateway.

Procedure: A physical PC to install the SpamTitan operating system on, or a Windows Server 2008 R2 server with Hyper-V installed. Install SpamTitan as a virtual machine configure all settings and then change the firewall settings to direct incoming mail to port 25 connection to SpamTitan, SpamTitan will then forward all good email to the SLMail Pro server or any other email server.

• #2 SpamTitan for VMWare - It is a complete operating system and software suite designed to run on VMware®. This will enable you to run SpamTitan on any server running VMware® irrespective of the operating system, allowing you to run multiple applications on a single server.

Procedure: install in ESX or ESXi hosted environment where the SpamTitan operating system can be installed as a virtual machine, configure all settings and then change the firewall settings to direct incoming mail to port 25 connection to SpamTitan, SpamTitan will then forward all good email to the SLMail Pro server or any other email server.

• #3 SpamTitan Appliance on Demand - It is a cloud based SpamTitan virtual appliance available on demand and dedicated to your organization. This unique deployment option gives you all the benefits of an appliance based solution but without having to utilize your own resources. The full solution is offered by SpamTitan so you don't even have to deal with a hosting company will be run as a cloud application hosted at SpamTitan’s data center.

Procedure: activate SpamTitan in the Cloud, configure all settings, then point all MX records to SpamTitan in the Cloud. SpamTitan in the Cloud will then forward all good email to the clients firewall to be forwarded to SLMail Pro or any other email server.
